Chagrin Heights, first known as the Stanton Allotment, is located in the furthest northwest section of the village. The Heights roads were plotted in three sections.

The first plot accepted on March 25, 1925 included Hazelwood Drive east from Walters Road and Fairview Road.

The second plot accepted on March 24, 1927 included Mapleridge Road, Fernwood Road, Laurel Road from Bell Road north to Hazelwood Drive and lots on both Bell Road and Hazelwood Drive between Mapleridge Road and Laurel Road.

The third plot was accepted on October 10, 1927 that included the northern sections of both Fernwood Road and Laurel Road that run from Hazelwood Drive north into Russell Township.

Currently there are 110 homes in the Chagrin Heights area not including the homes on Bell Road.

Voting in this development is in Precinct A located at the Gurney School.

The Geauga County sanitary sewers service all homes in this area.

Almost all homes are serviced by the Chagrin Falls water system.
