Emerald Lakes II was developed by Simon Builders.
Located off Bell Road half way between Chillicothe Road and the South Russell/ Chagrin Falls corporation boundary line, this development consists of homes located on two main roads and nine side streets.
Alderwood Trail was accepted and dedicated on December 12, 1994 and the Manor Brook Drive Extension (referred to as Emerald Lake III) was accepted and dedicated on October 23, 1995 as a village road.
Arrow Wood Circle, Button Bush Circle, Teaberry Circle, Woodrush Circle, Bellflower Circle, Chestnut Lane, Sorrelwood Lane, Sundew Lane and Holly Lane are the nine private/ undedicated spur and cul-de-sacs roads off Alderwood Trail consisting of cluster homes.
A large natural wetland area to the east of the entrance also continues around the entire subdivision surrounding it with wooded common lands that cannot be disturbed.
In 1995, an agreement between the developers of Emerald Lakes II (Sid Simon) and the Reserve of Whitetail Run (Snavely Builders), allowed the separate portions of Manor Brook Drive of each development to be connected creating a through road based on safety issues.
Emerald Lakes II consists of 68 homes.
Voting is in Precinct A located at Gurney School.
Geauga County sanitary sewers service the Emerald Lake II Subdivision and all homes are on wells.
